medius terra

The term "Mediterranean" comes from the Latin word mediterraneus, meaning "in the center of the earth" or "between the lands" (medius + terra), as it lies between the continents of Africa and Europe.

The Mediterranean landscape is a symphony of nature's most beautiful colors. The purest blue of the water, the deep green of olive trees shimmering in the sun, and rocky hills bathed in light.

Let the warm sea breeze enchant us in summer fragrance .

The Mediterranean Sea delights with its richness of color—especially in the realm we can see beneath the water's surface. Scientists estimate that coral reefs are home to over 25% of marine species, yet for years we have been observing their mass degradation and bleaching.

Coral reefs are being destroyed by a combination of threats from human activity. Overfishing, climate change, and coastal industrialization top the list of stressors. Reefs are also being destroyed for limestone or to improve access and safety for navigation.

I will donate 5% of each sold work to the Coral Guardian Foundation, which works to protect the coral reefs of the Mediterranean Sea.
